Born in Barcelona, Spain, Jackie Bassat brings a rich cultural heritage and a global perspective to David Croatto Studio. Having lived in Madrid, Paris, and Houston, she is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Italian, allowing her to connect effortlessly with a diverse clientele. Jackie’s deep-rooted love for art, inherited from a family of distinguished collectors, has shaped her profound appreciation for painting and sculpture, which she seamlessly integrates into her creative work.
Jackie’s academic background includes a degree in Advertising and Marketing from Paris, where she honed her skills in some of the most prominent advertising agencies in Barcelona and Chicago. Her passion for the arts led her to study painting at “la Llotja” in Barcelona and the Glassell School of Art in Houston. She also pursued Creative Writing and Filmmaking, producing and directing short films such as “The Butterfly,” which was selected in a film festival in St. Augustine, Florida.
With seven years of experience as the Communication Director and PR Manager for the prestigious ¡HOLA! magazine in Spain, Jackie played a key role in producing photography reports, creating impactful advertising campaigns, and covering high-profile social events. Her collaboration with renowned contemporary Spanish artist Lita Cabellut further solidified her position within the art world.

She has published her first novel, “Un Océano de Silencio,” in Spanish, which is currently in the process of being adapted into a feature film. Having lived in both Mexico and Houston, he is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to effectively communicate and connect with a diverse range of clients.
Gerardo’s academic journey began with a master’s degree in law from Monterrey, Mexico, where he worked at JPA Law Firm, specializing in civil law. His passion for helping others and his commitment to excellence established him as a key figure in the legal field. However, his true calling lay in the world of interior design, a passion he decided to pursue after relocating to Houston a decade ago.
Growing up, Gerardo always cherished the idea of a home that felt personal, cozy, and perfect for gathering with loved ones. This love for creating inviting spaces led him to work at High Fashion Home, where he discovered the joy of helping clients bring their visions to life.
